Bring me sunshine

Zaista je retkost da dani u januaru budu ovako lepi i sunčani. Sama pomisao na to da moram da nosim slojeve garderobe i debeli kaput i da mi i dalje ne bude savršeno toplo, nikada mi nije bila privlačna, pa često radije biram da ostanem kod kuće. Zbog toga, čim sam ugledala sunce danas, odlučila sam da dan provedem napolju. Prolećni dani, poput ovog, uvek mi daju inspiraciju za kombinovanje garderobe. Blejzer i upadljiva ogrlica su definitivno deo izgleda koji obožavam ove sezone.

It's quite rare that January days are this nice and sunny. The very thought of having to wear layers of clothes and a thick coat, and still not being perfectly warm, makes me bristle, so I often rather choose to stay in. Therefore, as soon as I saw the sunshine today, I decided to spend the day out. Springlike days always give me inspiration to combine clothes. A blazer and a statement necklace are definitely a part of the look I adore this season.

Flying start

Već duže vreme želim da počnem s blogovanjem o modi, pa sam kao novogodišnju odluku za 2013. godinu stavila to na sam vrh liste. Modu doživljavam kao umetnost, način kojim mogu da se neverbalno izrazim. Kada je oblačenje u pitanju, jasno je da "odelo ne čini čoveka", ali u večitoj prepirci sa ljudima oko sebe uporno pokušavam da dokažem da svi ti mali detalji koje volimo i kombinujemo zapravo govore dosta toga o nama. U želji da pokažem zašto je bitno šta oblačimo i pre svega kako to nosimo, rešila sam da izbegnem preduge razgovore i prepirke uz kafu i da pišem o tome na ovaj način.

I have wanted to start a fashion blog for quite a while now, so that's my top New Year's resolution for 2013. Fashion is a form of art to me, a way to express myself non-verbally. As far as dressing is concerned, it is quite clear that " the suit does not make the man", but in a constant debate with people around me, I persistently try to prove that all the little details we love and combine actually say so much about us. Since I want to show why it is important what we put on and above all how we wear it, I have decided to avoid too long conversations and quarrels over coffee and write about that instead.
